Beijing, 20 January 2022 (TDI): China’s President Xi Jinping and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko, sent congratulatory greetings to each other on the 30th anniversary of the China-Belarus diplomatic ties.

Xi Jinping denoted that China-Belarus relations are progressing incessantly over the last 30 years, both states’ longstanding friendship is growing stronger over time. Under his and Lukashenko’s leadership, China and Belarus have devised a comprehensive strategic association and partnership of common trust and win-win cooperation.
According to Xi Jinping, both sides have established ironclad political mutual trust and engaged in fruitful cooperation in a variety of fields. Moreover, they have been staunchly supporting each other on issues of core interests and collaborating with each other intimately in international and regional affairs.
Further Xi Jinping stated that since the commencement of the COVID-19 pandemic, both nations have been assisting and battling side by side and demonstrating the profound bond between two brothers by sharing weal and woe.
Xi disclosed that he and Lukashenko have sustained communication in various ways in recent years that have established substantial consensuses on how to strengthen China-Belarus ties under the prompt transitional global situation.
He stated that the development of bilateral ties is very important to him. In order to benefit both states and their people, Xi showed his propensity and willingness to work with Lukashenko to use the 30th anniversary to direct both states for better outcomes in their comprehensive strategic partnership and also in the Belt and Road cooperation.

Belarusian President Alexsander Lukashenko thanked President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China.
Lukashenko said that by historical standards, they have come a long way from bilateral engagement to a trust-based comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial collaboration in a relatively short period of time.
Both states are on the verge of entering a new aeon of ironclad and all-weather collaboration. These words reflect their victories and achievements in politics, economics, humanitarianism, military, and security.
Belarusian President stated that Minsk and Beijing are steadily replicating their interstate dialogues and coordinating to attain the goals and objectives on global and regional agendas as well as under the frameworks of the UN, SCO, EAEU.
Furthermore, the implementation and progress of the Belt and Road Initiative and cooperation in the other areas are also included within the agendas. Alexander Lukashenko appreciated all those proponents who helped generate bilateral ties at various stages and make them relevant and effective in the best interest of both nations’ peoples.
Further, he showed his confidence that the foundation which they have established would serve as a firm basis for future generations of Belarusians and Chinese. Lukashenko wished Xi Jinping good health and best of luck for his prospective aims, as well as the peace and prosperity of the Chinese people.
