Cyprus, 6 September 2021 (TDI): Chinese Ambassador to Cyprus attended an online event arranged by the International Youth Friendship Association of CY Chinese Home Association. Ambassador witnessed the charity sale and performance for Limassol wildfire relief. Children performed in this event and the Chinese Ambassador joined it through a video link. Liu further noted that he was happy to attend this event.
China and Cyprus are having good ties and they look forward to fortifying their bilateral relations. Earlier, the ambassador also held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades. Both encouraged the commitment to shared values and decided to forge bonds in a strategic manner.
