Chinese Envoy expressed his optimism apropos to the advancement of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The Pakistan-China Institute (PCI) and the All Pakistan Chinese Enterprises Association (APCEA) mutually delivered the yearly report titled APCEA Sustainable Development Report 2021.
The ceremony was attended by 100 participants along with five speeches of the Chief Guest, the Chairman Senate of Pakistan Sadiq Sanjrani, the Chairman APCEA Yang Jiandou, the Chairman Senate Defence Committee & Pakistan-China Institute Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on CPEC Khalid Mansoor, the Economic Minister Xie Guoxiang and the Ambassador of China to Pakistan Nong Rong.
The findings were reported for the first time and encapsulated the praxis along with the accomplishments of its constituent corporations. In Pakistan, 200 enterprises are operational and have created hundreds of thousands of placements for workless Pakistanis.
Chairman Senate denominated CPEC as a revolutionary venture that will generate marketing linkages besides the monetary options not only in South Asia but in the entire region.
Sanjrani said, Phase I of CPEC aided Pakistan in refurbishing the infrastructure and reconciled the power plight in developing states. Moreover, he said that CPEC Phase II would spearhead the advanced span of Industrialization.
Nong Rong, the Chinese Ambassador underscored that Beijing had contributed over $25 billion in Pakistan due to the CPEC generating 75,00,000 placements, generating 5500 KW of electricity, and constructing over 500 KM roads and bridges.
Xie Guoxiang, Minister Counselor of Economic Affairs of the Chinese Embassy said that the commerce and financial partnership between Islamabad and Beijing have been underpinned.
Pakistan and China are all-weather strategic partners, with both states having faced the Covid-19 pandemic fiercely and currently working for the establishment of a clean green globe. Yang Jianduo, Chairman APCEA underpinned the significance of clean surroundings and corroborated that APCEA is enacted for a green environment.
