Beijing (TDI): The second China International Supply Chain Expo concluded on Saturday, marking significant milestones with the signing of over 210 trade deals valued at 152 billion yuan (approximately $21.17 billion), according to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the event’s organizer.
The five-day event drew over 600 exhibitors from nearly 70 countries and regions, who forged partnerships with more than 37,000 suppliers along the supply chain.
Over 6,000 matchmaking sessions were facilitated, resulting in over 6,700 cooperation agreements, Xinhua reported.
This year’s expo recorded a footfall of more than 200,000 visitors, reflecting a 30 percent increase from its inaugural edition.

As the first national-level event dedicated to supply chains, the expo continues to attract substantial interest from international corporations.
Nearly one-third of the exhibitors this year were from overseas, an increase from last year’s 26 percent.
Participation in Next Expo
Multinational giants such as GE HealthCare and SAP have already confirmed their participation in next year’s expo.
Zhang Shaogang, Vice Chairman of the CCPIT, highlighted the event’s importance as a platform for domestic and global firms to showcase innovations, discuss business strategies, and enhance supply chain collaboration.

He reiterated the CCPIT’s commitment to expanding the expo’s reach and fostering international consensus on strengthening industrial and supply chain development.
