China Holds Fair for International Investors

Xiamen, September 9, 2024 (TDI): The 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) is going on in Xiamen, east China’s Fujian Province attracting visitors from 119 countries, majority of them from BRI region.

The moot that was opened Sunday will continue for four days with main focus on investment and investors from Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) partner countries.

However, as the China media reported it has attracted participants from all over the world.

This year’s CIFIT highlights the digital economy, new energy and green innovation. It is expected to serve as a platform for more than 80 investment events and roadshow activities.

Launched in 1997, the CIFIT, organized by the Ministry of Commerce, has become an important platform for boosting investment and facilitating global development.

Side by side with the conference activities for updating the investors on new opportunities is going as well.

A staff member of the Bank of China (R) introduced the bank’s global institutional distribution and cross-border financial services to a Ghanaian merchant during the 24th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen, southeast China’s Fujian Province.

Earlier China held a conference for African countries in the country. Several other conferences are pertaining to trade and investment is schedule this year, signifying China’s keen interest in different regions of the world and its motive for trade and investment.

China’s exports and imports activities with the US, Japan, Australia and the regional countries has increased in 2024, reports suggest.
