Beijing, 10 November 2021 (TDI): The China Coast Guard chaired a virtual meeting and Invited Delegates to participate from Pakistan Maritime Security Agency. This meeting is the first-ever meeting between the two sides. The meeting signified cooperation in the field of maritime law enforcement.
According to the Chinese Ministry of National Defense, during the virtual engagement, Both sides evaluated their respective gains from the bilateral cooperation in recent years. The representatives deliberated on the future trajectories of bilateral cooperation. The two sides also engaged in exchanging views on issues of mutual concern.

Both sides signified this development as another contribution in celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. The China Coast Guard and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency vowed to work together to promote maritime law enforcement cooperation.
