Nanning, 13 September 2021 (TDI): The four-day China-ASEAN expo took place on Friday in Nanning despite the pandemic rapidly spreading all over the world. It is a key platform promoting economic ties and multilateral trade between China and ASEAN countries. In the ongoing expo companies from more than 40 regions and countries participated. It is the 18th China- ASEAN ongoing expo and is celebrating the 30th anniversary of China-ASEAN friendly relations.
According to the expo officials, last Friday, a total of 179 deals costing more than 46.59 billion U.S dollars, were signed at the expo, which is the highest figure ever that comes in green economies. China’s robust and huge market is attracting ASEAN members to invest and promote trade among them.
China and Myanmar share strong relations in industrial structure and endowments. Their total trade in 2020 was 18.89 billion US dollars. Myanmar displays textiles, beverages, and agriculture products this year.
The total trade of China and Indonesia was 78.73 billion US dollars in 2020 and is flourishing towards economic growth. This year Indonesia displays accessories and wooden furniture, agriculture products, beverages, and food. 61.65 billion US dollars was the result of two-way trade between China and the Philippines in 2020. In this 18th CAEXPO Philippines showcases tourism services, agriculture products, food, and beverage.
China and Singapore reached 89.09 US billion dollars in 2020 and enjoy a booming economy. Singapore displays national image, food, and beverage. China and Thailand fostering trade and economic cooperation as their bilateral trade hit 98.63 billion US dollars. Thailand presents health and beauty, fashion products, and food and beverage. China and Cambodia hit 9.56 billion US dollars in 2020 as their economic ties are flourishing. In this 18th CAEXPO Cambodia exhibits investment projects, tourism services, and agriculture products.
