Santiago, 21 August 2021 (TDI): The Chinese pharmaceutical company, Sinovac Biotech Ltd., sent a freight of COVID-9 vaccine doses to Chile. The new shipment reached Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport of the country. According to the Deputy Health Minister of Chile, Paula Daza, the recently delivered vaccines will contribute to helping more people to get the vaccination.
The Chinese vaccine was declared suitable for the COVID-19 patient by the experts, and since then it is approved and used in Chile for emergencies. According to the government of Santiago, around 84% of the population has been fully vaccinated and about 90% has received their first vaccine jab.
