Islamabad, 9 September 2021 (TDI): The embassies of Azerbaijan and Pakistan participated in an online meeting that took place between the business communities of both states.
The business meeting was organized by the Economic Cooperation Chamber and The Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO). It was led by Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, and Bilal Hayee, Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan.
The theme of the meeting was to highlight the significance and need to increase the bilateral trade between the two states. Under bilateral trade, special importance was given to the exports of Pakistani rice to Azerbaijan. The meeting was a ray of hope for us to expect an increased trade turnover between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
