Brazil is interested in becoming an ASEAN Sectoral Dialogue Partner after becoming the first Latin American country to sign the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia. Brazil’s application was well-received, and it is now being reviewed by the Association and its member countries.
