Brussels, 19 September 2021 (TDI): Belgium Ministry of Foreign Affairs warmly thanked Pakistan and authorities for facilitating the evacuation of people from Kabul in recent weeks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the Red Kite operation ended on September 2.
Belgium continued its efforts to find a solution for the people in Afghanistan. Belgium’s Federal Public Service of Foreign Affairs will be committed to this evacuation. The Embassy of Belgium in Afghanistan will also cooperate in this.
Before that, Belgium thanked Qatar for arranging the chamber flight for Belgians with spouses and Children.
