Minsk, 3 September 2021 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Belarus, Vladimir Makei held a meeting with Xie Xiaoyong, Chinese Ambassador to Belarus.
The Belarusian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to Chinese officials for their support and signed an agreement on the transfer of foreign aid from China. Both parties highlighted that agreement is to strengthen the material and technical base of the Ministry. This will also help to elevate bilateral relations and cooperation on issues of mutual interests.
China’s deepening ties with Belarus will help China’s initiative of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) geographically because the former state has a beneficial position between the European Union and Russia.
