Minsk, 24 April 2024 (TDI): The Embassy of Pakistan in Minsk, in collaboration with the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, hosted a mesmerizing concert on April 23, 2024, at the University Campus.
The concert brought together approximately 150 students and teachers to celebrate the rich musical and cultural heritage of Pakistan.
The event, titled “Cross-Cultural Symphony: Belarus meets Pakistan,” featured musical and dance performances by talented students of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, who played several instrumental tunes of Pakistan, besides dancing on a famous “Pushto song”.
The highlight of the event was the enchanting instrumental music performance by renowned Pakistani musicians Ustad Ashraf Sharif Khan (Sitaar player) and Ustad Shahbaz Hussain (Tabla player), which received thunderous applause from the audience.

In his welcome remarks, Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan appreciated the cooperation and efforts made by the university in arranging this mega event possible. The Vice-Rector of the university welcomed the initiative of the Embassy and assured future collaborations as well.
Towards the end of the event, guests had the opportunity to savor the taste of select Pakistani dishes, adding a flavorful touch to the cross-cultural experience.
