Bangladesh’s State Minister addresses Students in Mexico

Mexico City, 30 September 2021 (TDI): The State Minister of Foreign Affairs for Bangladesh, Shahriar Alam gave a speech on “Bangladesh” in Mexico and the Ibero-American University of Mexico City.

There were approximately 2700 students that were present from different “IBERO” campuses. The campuses included Santa Fe, Tijuana, and Torreon. These students joined virtually. After briefly discussing the history of Bangladesh, the State Minister shed light on its contemporary political and social situation.

He told students the approach Bangladesh adopted in order to tackle the global pandemic. Moreover, important aspects of governance, institutional roles, and Bangladesh’s stance on major international issues were also discussed. The State Minister told the prospects and opportunities that students can discover in Bangladesh.
