Bangladesh pays gratitude to Maldives for sending Covid-19 Vaccines

Dhaka, 8 October 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Office of Bangladesh extended the heartiest greetings of the Maldives for sending the COVID-19 vaccines.

The vaccines were sent for the people of Bangladesh to support their fight against the global pandemic. The doses of AstraZeneca amounted to more than 200,000 are received as a gift from the Maldives. An agreement was signed on Wednesday.

It was between the Health Minister of Maldives, Ahmed Naseem, and the High Commissioner, Mohammed Nazmul Hasan. The doses were also delivered on the same day.

The doses are sent through the Qatar Airways flight that arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, today. The Foreign Office of Bangladesh prayed and expressed warm greetings.
