Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister to attend UNGA 76th Session

New York, 20 September 2021 (TDI): Azerbaijani Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov flies to New York to participate in the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

The Foreign Minister is set to attend bilateral meetings with the senior representatives of other countries. Such meetings are to promote cooperation and peace among countries. Tuesday, September 21, 2021, will be the first day of the high-level General Debate. The Debate will take place from September 21st-27th.

Due to the global pandemic, the number of delegations allowed into the UNGA Hall will be limited. The UN Member States have been encouraged to submit pre-recorded statements rather than traveling to UN Headquarters. The expected number of heads of States is more than 100.
