New York, 22 September 2021 (TDI): Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov met with Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
At the 76th Session of UNGA, both Foreign Ministers met to discuss the sidelines of the session. They discussed their roles and duties under the UN General Assembly session. They invited each other to their respective countries. Moreover, ways to improve bilateral cooperation were also discussed.
The key driving force behind bilateral ties is frequent high-level interactions. It has become a tradition to visit each other’s countries frequently or after significant events take place. Turkey has made contributions to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully. While also respecting Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. Overall, they have a multidimensional relation.
