Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Attends 37th Meeting of GUAM Council

New York, 23 September 2021 (TDI): Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov attended the 37th meeting of the GUAM Council of Foreign Ministers. This meeting was under the framework of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

The Minister said that GUAM is a critical platform for maintaining long-term peace and development. Along with that, the collaboration is founded on universally recognized rules and principles of international law, trust, and respect for one another’s goals. He expressed that work on reintegration, restoration, and reconstruction in Azerbaijan’s liberated land is progressing.

He stated that providing IDPs with political, legal, economic, and social conditions is essential for a dignified living which is Azerbaijan’s priority. He said that the international community should pressurize Armenia. To abandon revanchist tactics, as well as the importance of Armenia’s trilateral statement being fully implemented.
