Islamabad, 20 September 2021 (TDI): Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farahdov paid a visit to Taxila Museum and Sirkap archeological site.
According to the Ambassador, Pakistan has a lot of potential in the tourism sector. It may easily become a popular spot due to its ancient history, Gandhara civilization, and natural beauty. The Ambassador stated that Pakistan has become a safer destination for international tourists. Moreover, he expects a large number of tourists to visit Pakistan in the near future.
The staff of both these sites guided the Ambassador. They gave him historical information about ancient places. Both parties also exchanged views on the historical ties that Azerbaijan and Pakistan share.
