Azerbaijani Foreign Minister conveyed his sympathies to victims of bus tragedy

Baku: 19 July 2021-(TDI):  On Monday, July 19, 2021, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov took to his Twitter account to offer his condolences to the people of Pakistan following a bus disaster in Punjab.

The Foreign Minister expressed his condolences to the victims’ families in a statement, saying that the news of a tragic bus accident in Pakistan’s Punjab region has greatly affected Azerbaijan. He prayed to Allah Almighty to shower mercy on the accident victims and to speed up the recovery of those who were injured. He extended condolences on behalf of every one of Azerbaijan to the victims’ families and the Pakistani people.

The tragic incident happened on the Indus Highway in Pakistan’s Punjab province. A bus crashed with a truck on Monday, 19 July 2021. After a passenger, over 27 people were killed and over 40 were injured. The bus was traveling from Sialkot to Rajanpur when it was involved in an accident in Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan District. The area’s commissioner stated that 29 individuals died in the tragedy, including women and children. The entire country is in mourning, and condolences are pouring in from all around the world.
