Rome, 1 November 2021 (TDI): Australia will welcome fully vaccinated Singaporean tourists from now onwards, according to a statement given by the country’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

Australian Premier announced the decision at the G20 Leaders Summit 2021. A consensus was generated in a meeting between him and Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders Summit.

Earlier, fully vaccinated citizens of New Zealand were allowed to travel by Australia last week. Minister for Trade, Tourism, and Investment, Dan Tehan called the quarantine free travel the next logical step in global reopening.

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Women, Senator Marise Payne considered the exchange for the benefit of both nations. It will strengthen the friendship as well as bilateral ties.
