Lahore, 25 June 2022 (TDI): Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Naval War College on their 51st PN Staff Course and addressed the participants of the Course.
Commandant Pakistan Naval War College Rear Admiral Shifaat Ali Khan received the Chief of Army Staff on his arrival.
Firstly, General Bajwa touched upon matters of geostrategic environment, national security challenges, and response measures while addressing the participants.
He also commended the role of the Pakistan Armed Forces in proficiently confronting and tackling the challenges of national security.
Secondly, Army Chief highlighted the glorious history of the Pakistan Navy which is studded with unfaltering traditions of valor.
He stated that Pakistan Navy is a formidable force that is defending the maritime frontiers of Pakistan. Moreover, Pakistan Navy has always met the expectations of the nations.
Chief of Army Staff commended the quality training and valuable professional staff.
Pakistan Navy War college to the officers of the Pakistan Armed Forces and friendly countries pass on the Military training.
Above all, he also laid a wreath at Shuhada Monument to pay respect to the martyrs of Pakistan.
Appreciation for exercises:
Recently, Pakistan Navy got an appreciation for its recent AMAN-21 and SEASPARK-22 exercise.
In order, multinational maritime exercises include military groups of 45 countries, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Airforce, Marines, Coast Guards, and paramilitary forces.
These exercises were an impressive firepower show of live demonstration of Pakistan Aircrafts, PN ships, and submarines as well as Anti-ship missiles and torpedoes.
Pakistan Navy also held a demonstration of the MILGEM project in Pakistan’s port city of Karachi.
Moreover, Pakistan Navy through this project has entered into a milestone strategic development agreement with Turkiye.
The project demonstrated the surface to surfaces, anti-submarine, and anti-air warfare.
Pak Navy has made various strategic agreements with China, Russia, Turkey, and Qatar.
