World-renowned Hollywood actress, Angelina Jolie, reaffirmed her support for Gaza when she shared a post of Doctors Without Borders on her Instagram story.
She recently shared a post of the humanitarian organization, which describes Gaza as a “mass grave for Palestinians and those helping them.”
The post goes on to describe the unbelievable situation in Gaza, “As Israeli forces resume and expand their military offensive by air, ground, and sea on the Gaza Strip, forcibly displacing people and deliberately blocking the essential aid, Palestinian lives are one once again being systematically destroyed.”
It highlighted how the attacks of the Israeli forces are a serious threat to the safety and security of workers providing humanitarian assistance and healthcare in Gaza.
It also called on the Israeli authorities to immediately lift the inhumane and deadly blockade on Gaza and ensure protection to the lives of Palestinians as well as healthcare workers.

The post also expressed hope for a ceasefire in Gaza. However, it had simultaneously sparked an outrage among the far-right Israeli supporters.
Since 7 October 2023, more than 51,000 Palestinians have been martyred in Gaza as a result of the brutal onslaught of the Israeli forces, most of them being women and children.
Last year in November, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, for all the war crimes committed in Gaza.
For the brutal actions and war crimes, Israel has also been facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
In October 2023, Angelina Jolie raised her voice for the people of Gaza and urged the Israeli authorities to end the bloodshed.

She shared on her Instagram that she is praying for the immediate, safe return of every hostage, and for the families who carry the unimaginable pain of the murder of a loved one. Above all, the children murdered, and the many children now orphaned, her post said.
She further stated that what happened in Israel “cannot justify the innocent lives lost in bombing a civilian population in Gaza that has nowhere to go, no access to food or water, no possibility of evacuation, and not even the basic human right to cross a border to seek refuge.”
Angeline Jolie spent more than 20 years working as a goodwill ambassador and special envoy to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
She became the UN goodwill ambassador in 2001 and then became the special envoy in 2012. In 2022, Angelina Jolie stepped down from her role and said that she wanted to advocate for a wider range of human rights issues.
