Ottawa, 01 Sept 2021 (TDI): Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Canada Ameer Khurram Rathore held a virtual public meeting with the other Pakistani Consulate Generals in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal.
In the meeting, various questions and issues were raised by community members which were addressed by High Commissioner Rathore including bilateral trade with Canada, Pakistan’s support for anti-dumping problems at WTO levels, and problems regarding NICOP.
High Commissioner Rathore stressed more engagement with the Pakistani diaspora in Canada as per the special instructions of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi. High Commissioner Rathore said that in the future he would remain in active contact with the community and would take their feedbacks in the coming weeks about improving bilateral relations, trade and tourism with Canada.
