Islamabad: June 18, 2021- (TDI) Like the rest of the world, European Ambassadors to Pakistan are enjoying the Euro Championship 2020. The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship was initially scheduled for June-July 2020. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was rescheduled to this year. On the official Twitter accounts of Ambassadors of Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark congratulate each other for the game.
Yesterday night Belgium Diplomat Sylvain Vanrie hosted Belgium and Denmark embassy colleagues and friends to watch the game together. Both Belgium and Denmark teams were competing against each other. Danish Ambassador to Pakistan Lis Rosenholm congratulated Belgium for the beautiful win and paid thanks to Belgium Diplomat for hosting the night.
Today the Ambassador of Netherlands to Pakistan Wouter Plomp also took to Twitter and shared the news of the Netherlands victory. Both Belgium and Netherlands made it to the 8th finals of Euro 2020. Ambassador Wouter Plomp also shared an interesting fact about Pakistan’s football manufacturing. Sialkot manufactures most football in the world.
