Nay Pyi Taw (TDI): Ambassador Tariq Karim formally presented his credentials as Pakistan’s Ambassador to Myanmar to Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Acting President of Myanmar, during a ceremony held in Nay Pyi Taw.
The meeting also included discussions on issues of mutual interest, including trade and economic cooperation, education, technical assistance and capacity-building initiatives, people-to-people exchanges, and religious tourism.
Both sides expressed optimism about further strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new avenues of collaboration that can benefit citizens of both countries.

Ambassador Karim emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to fostering strong and constructive relations with Myanmar across multiple sectors.
