Ambassador of Kazakhstan met the Grand Mufti of Islamabad

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Qystapa Erjan received a delegation headed by the Grand Mufti of Islamabad and Chairman Ulama Aman Committee Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Akeel-ur-Rehman on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

The guests informed Kazakhstan’s Ambassador about the work of Pakistan’s Ulema Aman Committee which aims at combating Islamophobia by creating and promoting communication between people of different religions. Mr. Akeel-ur-Rehman Pirzada, in particular, discussed the interaction that takes place at the level of rural areas, cities, and regions across the country. Qystapa Erjan expressed his desire to continue the discussions in the interests of peace and the consolidation of interfaith dialogue.

At the termination of the meeting, the Ulema Aman Committee’s Chairman, Akeel-ur-Rehman Pirzada, invited the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to visit his offices and participate in upcoming activities.
