During his speech, Ambassador Yerzhan congratulated the legislators. He also stressed the value of inter-parliamentary collaboration.
He expressed his gratitude to Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate, and the senators for their assistance in fostering closer ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
He also acknowledged the senators for their support and extended an official invitation for them to visit Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador underscored his commitment to fostering exchange initiatives between cultures. He also reiterated his desire to organize events encouraging mutual understanding and admiration for one another’s cultures.
He asserted that amicable and constructive ties between two countries are based on shared respect, trust, and understanding.
Commerce, economic cooperation, and cultural exchange between the two countries have significantly expanded in recent years.
Kazakhstan and Pakistan are scheduled to establish direct flights soon. This initiative demonstrates the two countries growing friendship.
Launching direct flights between the two allies will be a significant step in further solidifying relations between the two countries.
Kazakhstan and Pakistan’s Ties
Kazakhstan and Pakistan are traditionally regarded as strategic allies. The two countries have continued high-level visits and diplomatic exchanges to strengthen bilateral ties.
The Kazakhstan-Pakistan Economic Cooperation Organization (KPECO) was founded in 1996. It has facilitated various cooperative ventures and investment initiatives between the two countries.
The country is also a prominent partner in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Kazakhstan and Pakistan have a long history of working together in cultural exchange, particularly in music, art, and literature. The interchange of business and cultural events has been crucial in fostering closer relations between the two countries.
Trade between these countries is currently valued at about $200 million, although substantial room exists for further expansion.
Pakistan has also significant relationships with Kazakhstan in several sectors, including telecommunications, infrastructure, and energy.
Additionally, both countries collaborate on regional and global concerns like terrorism prevention, regional peace, and international security.
