Buenos Aires, 6 September 2021 (TDI): Muhammad Khalid Ejaz, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Argentina with concurrent accreditation to Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Paraguay, gave a Polo-based interview to the Argentine Polo Magazine on Sunday.
During the interview, Ambassador Ejaz talked about the upsurge of Polo enthusiasts in Pakistan and aspired for collaboration between Argentine Polo Association and Pakistan Polo Association, which would serve as a prolific opportunity for players to enhance their skills.
The polo season is observed in Pakistan from September to April. Currently, Pakistan Polo Association has nineteen clubs registered, with a total of twenty-seven polo grounds, whereas the strength of players is around 380, having one six-goal handicap player. According to Ambassador Khalid Ejaz, Pakistan amounts to approximately 10,000 people who are directly or indirectly employed in polo-related activities at present.
