Buenos Aires, 22 September 2021 (TDI): On Tuesday, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Argentina Muhammad Khalid Ejaz visited the Islamic Centre of the Argentina Republic (CIRA) where he was received by President of CIRA Anibal Bachir Bakir and other members of the Board of Directors.
During his visit, Ambassador Muhammad Khalid Ejaz delivered a book on Allama Iqbal in Spanish, which has published by the Embassy. Ambassador also presented tapestry embroidered with Quranic verses as a gift from Pakistan.
CIRA is a governmental institution that specializes in providing Halal certification services for various products in Argentina. The Muslim population has reached an approximate number of 17,00 million people distributed along 134 countries. This institution is according to the religious principle of Islamic law. In the meeting, Both sides expressed mutual religious interest on the behalf of two countries, Pakistan and Argentina.
