Buenos Aires, 29 September 2021 (TDI): On Tuesday, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Argentina Muhammad Khalid Ejaz received Santiago Sautel, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Argentine news agency, Realpolitik. Sautel expressed gratitude towards Muhammad Khalid Ejaz, for warmly receiving him.
The officials met in Buenos Aires, and discussed Pakistan’s bilateral relationship with Argentina, besides the ongoing humanitarian situation in Afghanistan. Santiago Sautel appreciated the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s cordial relationship with Argentina, and conferred about the country’s perspective on various issues, particularly regarding the Taliban takeover in Kabul.
Following the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, many individuals have been displaced and exposed to one of the worst humanitarian crises, given which Pakistan and several other nations have committed to safely transiting vulnerable individuals from Kabul.
