Amb. Nong Rong impressed by Pakistanis’ efforts to help flood-affected Henan

Islamabad: 31 July 2021 (TDI)

The Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong is impressed by the Pakistani people who stepped forward to collect money and donations to help the flood-affected Henan province of China.

Amb Nong shared a video on Twitter where Pakistani people were seen donating money to help the people of Henan. The people of Pakistan showed great commitment and value for their friendship with China in the video.

Amb. Nong in his tweet mentioned that Pakistan and China are iron brothers with strong bilateral relations of 70 years years. He further added that he was moved by Pakistani people who expressed sorrow for the loss of lives and property in Henan as a result of heavy flooding and stepped forward to donate generously for them. This donation is an example of how strong relations both states have developed over 70 years, said the ambassador.
