Baku, 15 May 2023 (TDI): President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, congratulated Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the People’s Alliance on their tremendous victory in Turkey’s presidential and legislative elections.

President Aliyev acknowledged the remarkable progress achieved by Türkiye under President Erdogan’s leadership. He emphasized that the trust placed by the Turkish people in their leader through the election results further exemplified their deep-rooted faith and confidence in his ability to steer the nation toward prosperity.

In response to President Aliyev’s compliments and greetings, President Erdoğan expressed his gratitude. The state leaders underlined the enduring nature of Azerbaijan and Türkiye’s friendly and fraternal relations, reiterating their commitment to deepening bilateral ties in the future.
