Astana, 5 June 2023 (TDI): Astana and Kazakhstan are preparing to host the highly anticipated Astana International Forum (AIF) on June 8-9. The forum’s objectives, key themes, and notable speakers highlight its potential to address global challenges and promote international cooperation.

Under the theme “Tackling Challenges Through Dialogue Towards Cooperation, Development, and Progress,” the AIF will bring together over 1,000 participants and 100 speakers for more than 40 panels, side events, and sessions. Notable speakers include influential figures from various countries and international organizations.

One session will focus on the role of middle-power diplomacy in the current global order, emphasizing the advantages of middle powers in bridging gaps and promoting stability. Kazakhstan’s potential as an influential middle-power mediator in the Central Asian region will be highlighted.
