Islamabad (TDI): Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Ahsan Iqbal, on Wednesday emphasized the longstanding bonds between Pakistan and the United Kingdom, as he extended congratulations on the occasion of King Charles III’s birthday.
The event, held at the British High Commissioner’s residence, was hosted by British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott, with Prof. Ahsan Iqbal as the Chief Guest.
Speaking at the event, Iqbal expressed warm greetings from the Government and people of Pakistan, lauding King Charles III’s dedication to service and his engagement across the Commonwealth, including Pakistan.
He highlighted the mutual respect and trust that define the Pakistan-UK relationship, emphasizing a shared commitment to strengthen economic partnerships, trade, and people-to-people connections.
