Nairobi, 9 November 2021 (TDI): Raila Odinga, African Union High Representative For infrastructure Development and Ex-Prime Minister (2008-2013) of Kenya, met with the German Ambassador to Kenya, Annet Gunther.
Both discuss mutual relations between the two countries. Germany is an important development partner of Kenya. Likewise, Both officials look forward to further enhancing the diplomatic, development economic partnership between the two countries.

The main priority of the German-Kenya partnership is to improve youth employment, especially in sustainable economic development and the agriculture sector. Further, Germany also supports Kenya in anti-corruption measures, refugees and climate change, and the energy sector.
Germany is a vital partner of the East African country, Kenya. Besides, almost 100 German companies are operating in Kenya, and these companies serve the East African region. Both countries’ bilateral state development cooperation totals more than one billion euros.
