Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and US plans to inaugurate a Quadrilateral Diplomatic Forum

Tashkent: July 16, 2021 – (TDI):  During the Central-South Asia Conference 2021, held by Uzbekistan, the representatives of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and the United States confirmed to inaugurate a novel quadrilateral diplomatic platform.

The platform will aim at promoting regional connectivity. Long-lasting peace and stability in Afghanistan are compulsory for enhanced regional connectivity, concerned parties expressed. They highlighted the dependency between peace and regional connectivity and how one is necessary for the other to flourish.

They also consented to collaborate in the expansion of trade, establishment of transit links, and promotion of business connections.

They expressed their plans to meet soon, to further determine the process of this collaboration with mutual consent.
