Singapore (TDI): Two innovative startups from Pakistan have been selected as part of 23 teams from the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region to join Google’s first-ever AI Academy.

The program, aimed at helping startups refine their AI solutions and boost business growth, launched this week with a three-day interactive bootcamp in Singapore.

Founders from Pakistan, Korea, Japan, India, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia came together to kick off the initiative.

Participants will receive over 170 hours of tailored mentorship from AI and Cloud experts, up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits, and opportunities to network with other AI innovators across the region.

Pakistani startup AdalFi is enhancing financial inclusivity with its AI-driven credit scoring system, making financial services more accessible for individuals and small businesses.

Another startup, Adlytic AI, is transforming retail analytics by turning CCTV cameras into smart tools, helping retailers leverage visual and geospatial data for business growth.

Both startups are pushing the limits of AI innovation in Pakistan and enriching the region’s AI ecosystem.
