Ashgabat ( TDI): Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that a new world order was needed for fair distribution of wealth and where opinions of each nation will be heard and counted.
He is in Turkmenistan addressing an international conference in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat and Putin is due to hold separate talks with Serdar Berdymukhamedov, his Turkmen counterpart, Reuters reported.

Today, the Turkmen capital is hosting the “Interrelation of Times and Civilizations-Basis of Peace and Development” international forum dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi.
The leaders of Turkmenistan’s neighboring states, such as Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and some other countries are also attending the event.
Earlier Russian media reported that Putin is expected to deliver a speech at the forum’s plenary session and also later on to hold several one-on-one meetings, including a meeting with the Iranian president.
Reports suggest that Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told journalists earlier that Putin and Pezeshkian would discuss both bilateral issues and the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East.

According to AP, in his opening remarks at the forum, Putin repeated again that he wants to build “a new world order” with Russia’s friends and partners.
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has already arrived in Ashgabat for the conference and his bilateral meetings with the regional leaders are also expected.
Besides, heads of the state several international organizations’ representatives are also participating in the forum.
