PM Shehbaz Sharif Calls for End of Bloodshed in Gaza

ISLAMABAD, (TDI): Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the urgent need for a ceasefire in Palestine during the All Parties Conference on Palestine and Gaza held at the President House on Monday.

He called on the international community, particularly the Muslim world, to act swiftly to prevent further bloodshed in Gaza.

Condemning Israel’s ongoing brutality, the Prime Minister expressed sorrow over the daily killings of innocent Palestinians.

“The immediate priority must be to stop the bloodshed, which is our foremost duty. The platform of the OIC is available for this purpose,” he stated.

Sharif commended the unity of all political parties at the conference, noting that Pakistan’s leadership stands together in times of challenge to present strong recommendations and cooperate on proposed actions.

He announced the formation of a working group to evaluate the proposals discussed during the conference.
