Indiana (TDI): Reaffirming his demand that Vice President Kamala Harris backtrack on her allegations that she worked at McDonald’s, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has sided with Harris.
Trump said, “Kamala should remove and retract all of her claims that she worked for McDonald’s, on his Truth Social platform. She owes the American people an apology for her deception! ”
Trump’s comments are a response to an incident that occurred in 2019 when Harris said, “I worked in McDonald’s,” while joining a picket line with fast-food employees in Las Vegas. While I worked at McDonald’s, I was a student.”
Harris also posted a video of herself making remarks on X, the previous Twitter, saying that she was “doing ice cream and french fries.”

On August 10, Harris’ campaign published a new advertisement in which she reiterated that she worked at McDonald’s while attending Howard University in the 2024 presidential contest.
In contrast to Trump’s economic plans, the advertisement demonstrated her comprehension of the challenges faced by the middle class.
“After an extensive study… they found out she never worked there,” Trump said when initially accusing Harris of lying about the employment at the Moms for Liberty convention on August 30.
He showed a picture of Harris in a McDonald’s uniform on September 1st, continuing to make fun of her.

McDonald’s has not released an official statement endorsing or rejecting Harris’ employment in spite of the situation.
