Beirut (TDI): Israeli air strikes on Lebanon killed at least 35 children and 58 women among 492 people as well as wounded as much as over 1600, Lebanon’s health ministry has said.
The local media and various reports dubbed Monday (when the strikes took place) as the deadliest day for the country since the conflict in Palestine began.
Besides the causalities, according to Health Minister Firass Abiad, thousands of families had been displaced, as certain media reports quoted him on the intensity of the strike.
Israeli claimed to have targeted over 1580 sites in southern and eastern Lebanon as well as Beirut killing a large number of Hezbollah fighters, according to various media reports.
While Hezbollah reportedly claimed to have fired missiles at Israeli military sites after Israeli attacks.

People in Israel’s coastal city of Haifa were seen running for cover on Monday when air raid sirens sounded, reports suggest.
EU foreign affairs chief Josep Borrell has expressed concerns about Israel and Hezbollah clashes widening the war, according to AFP.
“I can say we are almost in a full-fledged war,” Borrell said ahead of a gathering of world leaders at the United Nations.

US President Joe Biden and other world’s leaders had already expressed fear of full-fledge war if the situation continues.
Several countries including China already advised their citizens to leave Israel and Lebanon as soon as possible for safety as possibility of dangerous war and attacks is looming over the region.
Frequent incidents Israeli attacks in Lebanon’s areas are frequently witnessed now; Lebanon is also blaming the former for various incidents of bomb blasts in its cities.
