President Lauds KSA’s Progress on Its National Day

ISLAMABAD, (TDI): President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) across various sectors, including economy, trade, defense, culture, education, and people-to-people interactions.

Speaking at the National Day Reception hosted by the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad to celebrate KSA’s 94th National Day, the President addressed to the event that was attended by federal ministers, diplomats, dignitaries, and civil and military officials.

Zardari extended heartfelt congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, as well as to the people of Saudi Arabia.

He emphasized the strong ties between the two nations and their mutual support during challenging times.

He expressed deep appreciation for Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s vision and the significant progress the Kingdom has made under his leadership, noting that the bold initiatives launched by the Crown Prince are set to drive Saudi Arabia toward greater prosperity.

The President wished the Kingdom continued success on this transformative journey.

Zardari also thanked Saudi Arabia for its ongoing support to Pakistan and for hosting nearly 2.7 million Pakistanis, who contribute to the Kingdom’s social and economic development.

He expressed confidence that bilateral relations between the two nations would continue to strengthen in the years ahead, emphasizing their shared commitment to advancing their respective countries, fostering unity within the Muslim Ummah, and promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
