Tehran, 1 May 2023 (TDI): The 14th Iran Petrochemical Forum (IPF) kicked off at IRIB International Conference Center (IICC) on Monday in the capital of the Republic of Iran, Tehran.
The IPF is a step forward in Iran’s efforts to strengthen its position as a leading player in the global petrochemical industry.
The conference will enable the country to showcase its capabilities and potential, attracting new investments and partnerships.
It is a testament to the country’s commitment to developing a sustainable and thriving petrochemical industry, which will contribute to the country’s economic growth and development.
IPF has always been an opportunity for petrochemical technology owners, licensors, financial institutions, commercial companies, and producers from across the world to exchange ideas and discuss their latest achievements, successes, and solutions through networking.

The forum’s subjects are “Feedstock, products and supply chain,”; “Solutions and advanced optimization technologies,”; “Integration and coordination between petrochemical and refining complexes,”; “Production process and market,”; “Methanol market and its roles,”; “Global energy crisis and future of the petrochemical industry”; “Investment and financial supply opportunities”; and “Energy optimization and production without pollution.”
Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (NPC) chief Shahmirzaei said that completing the production chain in Iran’s petrochemical sector is a crucial objective, and the IPF will play a significant role in achieving this goal.

The conference will showcase the latest products and achievements of the petrochemical industry, with participation from 15 countries, including members of the BRICS countries and some European countries.
In addition to presentations and discussions, the IPF will feature four workshops and an exhibition.
