Glasgow, 1 November 2021 (TDI): The meeting of Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, President of Zimbabwe with President of European Council, Charles Michel, held on the sidelines of COP26 in Glasgow, UK. Both officials discussed the prospect of how the EU and Zimbabwe can cooperate to build a greener and better future.
The Zimbabwean President with his delegation at the COP26 will present the reductive measures and adaptation actions of Zimbabwe against climate change. European Council’s President, Charles Michel stated that the EU is ready to re-engage and support the implementation of necessary reforms. Furthermore, President of European Council also asserted that EU is always ready to address global challenges.

The twenty-sixth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 26) is organized in the UK. The conference will continue for 12 days. One hundred ninety states will participate; State leaders and tens of thousands of negotiators, government representatives, and businesses will participate in the conference.
Moreover, the participants will discuss the challenges and solutions to climate change. Participants will also review and negotiate global action. Further, Summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
