Islamabad (TDI): Munsoo Kurrimbaccus, the newly appointed High Commissioner-designate of Mauritius to Pakistan, presented his credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari at a ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The envoy was greeted with a Guard of Honour by a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Armed Forces upon his arrival.
During their meeting, President Zardari emphasized the long-standing bonds of friendship between Pakistan and Mauritius, noting their deep cultural affinity and shared Commonwealth heritage.

The President underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in trade, investment, agriculture, and defense cooperation.
He also highlighted the potential for enhanced inter-parliamentary linkages between the two countries.
President Zardari expressed confidence that Kurrimbaccus’s appointment would lead to stronger ties and greater collaboration between Pakistan and Mauritius.
