President Zardari Extends Greetings to China on 76th National Day

Islamabad (TDI): President Asif Ali Zardari has extended warm congratulations to the government and people of China on the occasion of their 76th National Day, marking the founding of the People’s Republic in 1949.

In a message issued by the Presidency on Tuesday, President Zardari said the people of Pakistan stand with their “Chinese brothers and sisters” in celebrating a milestone that reflects China’s remarkable achievements in unity, progress, and national development.

He praised the leadership of President Xi Jinping, crediting his vision for advancing innovation, sustainable growth, and global engagement.

“President Xi’s people-centered governance and the idea of a community with a shared future for mankind continue to inspire the world,” he noted.

Highlighting the “time-tested and multifaceted” partnership between Pakistan and China, President Zardari pointed to his recent visits to Beijing, where both sides reaffirmed commitments to strengthen trade, infrastructure, and strategic security cooperation.

He also emphasized the importance of deepening ties in science, education, technology, and culture, describing them as the foundation of the two countries’ enduring friendship.
