Tehran (TDI): The ECO Cultural Institute (ECI) organized an event, the cultural agency of the ten-member Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) where the young Pakistani student, musician and writer, was honoured in that particular event.
In this sense, he has also published an essay with the name, Excavating A Forgotten Treasure from Türkiye to remember his journey to locate the burial site of Arab poet Imru’ al-Qais in Ankara was the focus of the event.
This specific event featured Huzaifa’s musical performance of Bağlama, a traditional musical instrument of Turkey.
Moreover, the President of the ECI Dr Saad S. Khan spoke at the event, who is a renowned Pakistani diplomat, and historian and has the authority of music, admired Huzaifa’s talent quoting that a Pakistani boy, playing a traditional Turkish instrument for a live audience in Tehran, Iran. The ECI has achieved a notable milestone by uniting the three nations through the ECO framework.

Dr. Ali Shaheedi, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Ancient Iranian Languages at Tehran University, highlighted the deep historical connection between literature and music. The event included speeches from Mr Rashid Naqvi, Dr Ali Bayat, Wafa Yazdanmanesh, and Hassan Naqvi.
All speakers agreed that the gathering reinforced ECI’s mission to foster cultural and intellectual exchange among ECO nations by bridging history, literature, and the arts.
