Geneva, 16 September 2021 (TDI): The latest political scenario of Yemen along with the prospects and necessity of a political solution was discussed by Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs of Yemen, with Arab ambassadors. The ambassadors belonged to the United Nations and other organizations in Geneva along with those accredited to Switzerland.
Additionally, the foreign minister lauded the Arab countries for supporting the stance of the legitimate government of Yemen to acquire stability, security, and unity within the country. In this regard, the importance of coordinated diplomatic actions was also highlighted. On the other hand, the Arab ambassadors also affirmed support to the Yemeni diplomacy for its endeavors to achieve peace.
The Yemeni ambassador to Switzerland and the permanent representative to the United Nations offices and international organizations, Dr. Ali Muhammad Mujawar also participated in the meeting.
