ISLAMABAD (TDI): Chief Whip of the upper house of the parliament Senator Saleem Mandviwalla on Friday visited the Chinese Embassy, where he met with Ambassador Jiang Zaidong.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest. the meeting underscored the enduring friendship and mutual respect between Pakistan and China, with both leaders emphasizing the importance of cooperation during challenging times.
Ambassador Jiang warmly welcomed Senator Mandviwalla and expressed heartfelt concerns for President Asif Ali Zardari after his recent injuries.
He conveyed sincere well-wishes from the Chinese leadership and said that President Xi Jinping had personally sent messages wishing for a swift recovery and continued good health for President Zardari.
